Peggle isn’t exactly pachinko but it does share the same addictive qualities of this popular Japanese pastime. I recently got a taste of this game when I purchased my copy of The Orange Box from Steam.
With its excellent pedigree, I had high hopes for Hellgate London. In many ways, the addictive game play clearly shines but the flaws stick out like a steaming turd on a wedding cake.

It’s funny to see a Japanese comedian in his 30s struggle to beat notoriously hard 8-bit Famicom games. He’ll go on multi-hour video game sessions and sometimes an AD will have to jump in to help him finish some of these games.
There was only one time I remember where I think I ran into another World of Warcraft player from Japan. To the best of my knowledge, it was during a Dire Maul run. The player was complaining about some noisy youths outside of his apartment in Osaka and had to AFK.
