Will we see an Apple Home Server this Year?

Apple needs to release a home server. Hanging a USB hard drive off an Airport Extreme doesn’t count. With Apple’s continued push into the media market, now would be a good time to make it easy for users to consolidate their media files as well as stream video and music to multiple devices.

Thinking of Future Macbooks

I love my Macbook. The performance is snappy, it doesn’t get hot, the keyboard is excellent, and it’s all encased in a nice form factor. As far as portable Mac solutions go, I have no problems using this over the bulkier and hotter Macbook Pro.

My Menu Bar

Lifehacker has a gallery of reader submitted Mac menu bar screenshots. I’m amazed at the amount of the clutter I see in these screenshots. Do you really need to have all those icons stuck in your menu bar?
