I originally found this clip on TV in Japan. The Best House 1, 2, 3 is a show hosted by the Japanese comedy team London Boots. It’s a far cry from the stuff they did with Platinum London Boots, but I think it’s a decent show.

Every year in Japan they have the M-1 Grand Prix. The best manzai teams in Japan compete for the right to the earn the title of M-1 Grand Prix winner and also pocket the 10 million yen prize money.

Professional fighter Bob Sapp made a name for himself in Japan a few years ago. With his success in fighting came the endorsements. There was a time when you couldn’t watch TV without seeing a Bob Sapp comercial.

I’ll always remember actor Tommy Lee Jones as the tough, determined Marshal Samuel Gerard from the movie The Fugitive.

Here we have TV personality Koike Eiko being interviewed by a chimpanzee talk show host.

グラビアアイドル (gurabia aidoru). This term has always puzzled me. I knew the kind of work these women did but the job title threw me off.

This is arguably one of the funniest television programs to come from Japan. Combine one of the most popular Japanese comedy duos with a team of weird foreign anchors/reporters and you have comedy gold.
