Mac Pick: Coda

Coda

Coda is an app I use almost daily. Combine an FTP program with a text editor, CSS editor, terminal, and a reference library and you have Coda.

But it’s not just about the versatility of this app. It’s about how well these apps are able to coexist and work well within a single application framework. The true test of a great app is how well it’s able get out of your way. In using Coda, I’m able to focus on just work without really thinking about the app itself.

If you’re someone who enjoys tinkering with Web related code and want a clean solution, I highly recommend Coda. You can download a free trial from the Panic Website. Some might think it’s a bit pricey, but when you consider all that it can do, I don’t think the price is all that bad.

I use coda too. Not updated since november though. Many bugs that need to be fixed. Considering the price you would expect better than that.
