Have a Clean Computer Display You Can Be Proud Of

PixelClean

I cringe whenever I see people spraying Windex on their computer displays. That’s just wrong. Using general household cleaners on your computer display will strip the display of its protective coating.

You can easily avoid this problem by using cleaning products specifically designed for computer displays. For matte finish displays, I recommend Klear Screen. I’ve used their products since the 90s and they just work great. I recommend going with their travel singles combo. They come in individually wrapped packs, each with a wet and dry wipe.

A glossy display tends be to be more susceptible to scratches. Therefore, a more delicate cleaning product is required. So for glossy displays, I prefer to use products made by PixelClean. I first heard of this product from a glowing PC Gamer recommendation and it works as advertised.

Basically, PixelClean does a great job of cleaning the display without the unnecessary roughness. I recommend going with their deluxe LCD cleaning kit. It’s about 20 bucks and has everything you need to get you started.

You can easily order either product from their respective websites. So don’t procrastinate. Just place the order and have the cleaning products by your computer. That way, when the time comes, you won’t be forced to use a business card as a dust squeegee.
