Easy Mac Screen Capture

This is a simple but highly effective tip for those interested in capturing screenshots. Whenever you want to capture a portion of whatever is on your screen, press: command-shift-4. You’ll be present with a set of crosshairs. Now click and drag those cross hairs over the part of the screen you want to capture.
As soon as you release your mouse button, the captured image will be saved to your desktop in PNG format.
