Bob Sapp Meets Downtown
Professional fighter Bob Sapp made a name for himself in Japan a few years ago. With his success in fighting came the endorsements. There was a time when you couldn’t watch TV without seeing a Bob Sapp comercial.
He even appeared on the popular TV show Gaki no Tsukai. In this episode, they do a bit called “Shichihenge.” Here’s how it works: the TV show staff are having a planning meeting and it’s up to Bob Sapp to make them laugh through a series of seven gags. Each time a staff member laughs at a particular gag, they have to cough up 1,000 yen.
Seeing Bob Sapp scare popular TV personality Hamada Masatoshi was the highlight for me. His Kansaiben wasn’t too bad either.
