Mac OS X 10.5.1 Update Fixes Firewall Issue

The Leopard 10.5.1 update came out today and it fixes a very important issue with the firewall. Previously, the Leopard firewall didn’t work well with certain third party apps. The end result was a third party app that refused to function properly. I wrote about this in an earlier post.

Apple finally made their iPhone 1.1.2 update available via iTunes yesterday. One thing I noticed after installing this update was the speed increase. Switching from vertical to horizontal application views now feels smoother. Accessing messages from the SMS application is now a bit quicker.
