It’s amazing the difference 10 years can make. The 1997 Macworld keynote carries with it a much more somber mood when compared to those of recent memory.
Back in 1997, Apple was bleeding money, it had no iPod, no iTunes Store, and its product lineup was confusing. This is the infamous keynote where Steve Jobs announces a software deal with Microsoft and Bill Gates appears on the big screen to a stunned audience.
