Boost Your Productivity with Launchbar
Recently, I mentioned the Mac utility Quicksilver. Launchbar is a commercial program that functions in roughly the same manner as Quicksilver. Tap command-space, type in some characters, and choose from a list of possibilities.
Now why would I mention a commercial program when a perfectly good, FREE program is available? Well, it’s all a matter of personal preference. For my own Mac, I prefer to use Lauchbar. From past experience, I’ve found Launchbar uses fewer system resources and it has been more stable when compared to Quicksilver.
Launchbar is shareware, so it wouldn’t hurt to try it out. Test them both out and see which one you prefer. Launchbar costs $19.95.
